Field Education Programs

Field Education Department headed by the Director of Mission. This is for organizing and directing mission project and outreach ministries involving AEBS students. The Director will coordinate various outreach projects to maximize the student's field experience. The Director of Mission will have the freedom to allocate a student to any church based on his/her linguistic/musical or any special skills.

AEBS is also organizing short-term ministry opportunities every year during the breaks as part of field education requirement for the students. The Director of Mission will inform the details of each outreach activity to students accordingly. The Field education requirement is treated as equal to 3 credit hour courses. A satisfactory report from the Director of Mission is required to consider the student for graduation for Asian Evangelical Bible Seminary.

Practical Ministry

The Seminary creates possibility for the students to gain experience in practical ministry by giving the students ample opportunity to preach, share testimony, participate in skits, singing etc. Ministries like home visitations, tract distributions are also conducted for the students to participate in ministry and serve the Lord while still at seminary.

Church Visitations

The Director of Mission arranges and creates avenues for the seminary students to visit different churches within Kohima locality. The students get opportunity to have fellowship with different churches, share testimony, present songs and skit, and share the good news through these church visitations.

Gospel Tour

The Gospels tours are conducted with the motive of giving the students a chance to witness and visit churches located in different parts of Nagaland. The seminary also organizes gospel tours outside the Nagaland for exposure to ministry and missions outside the state.
